Prof Angba bags NYCN ‘Personality Award’, praises Ayade, Agabi, others for building his academic career

Accolades have been showered on the former Rector, Institute of Management Technology Ugep, Prof Austine Angba for setting the pace in the provision of quality education and his enormous support to youth movement in Cross River State.

The Award of Personality which was given by National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Cross River State Chapter at Transcorp Hotel Calabar on Saturday to mark the International Youth Week celebration 2019 had others notable recipients with Sterling performance drawn across the State.

Receiving the award, Prof Austine Angba applauded the youths and asked them to key into the agricultural revolution of His Excellency, Senator Prof Ben Ayade to help place Cross River State in the agricultural world map as number one in agricultural development and in turn provide earn needs for themselves instead of totally engaging in frivolities and depending on white collar jobs.

He said youth ought to be inspired by personalities who has given so much energy, positive vibes, hard work and commitment to the development of Cross River State and Nigeria at large.

According to him three personalities whose words created turning points in his academic career are Barr. Kanu Agabi (SAN), Archbishop Archibong Archibong and His Excellency Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade because of their tremendous strides in the society.

Angba advice the Youths to focus more on His Excellency’s lips than his hands because his words are life changing and inspiration to the overall growth of human while calling on them to continue supporting the present administration achieved its industralization drive for more viable job creation.
