Senator Gershom Bassey Presents 18-seater Bus To CAN

In line with his campaign promise of reaching out to the masses, Senator Gershom Bassey, who represents the Cross River South Senatorial District in the Senate, has once again donated a brand new 18-seater bus to the Cross River State Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) to ease their transportation to their place of duties.

The Senator, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), has repeatedly stated his commitment to ensuring that no member of his district is denied the benefits of democracy and adequate representation.

Sen. Gershom Bassey has clearly distinguished Himself in service to His immediate constituents, His state, and Nigeria at large, according to Barr. Ekpo Ada, who presented the key on behalf of the Senator to CAN Chairman, Most. Rev. Okon Bassey Ekpenyong.

This is for missionary work to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, according to Barr Ekpo Ada, who is also the Director General (DG) of the Gershom Bassey Campaign Organization.

Transportation, according to Ekpo Ada, is the pivot around which any modern economy revolves.

He stated: “The people of the Cross River South can attest to Senator Gershom Bassey’s contributions to human capital growth, and there has been a bountiful harvest of citizen-oriented projects designed to meet constituents’ yearning for a better life. The assistance comes at the right time to improve socioeconomic activities, allowing people to move from one place to another “.

Continuing, the Chairman called on other politicians to emulate Senator Gershom Bassey for remembering the church.

Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Duke, the CAN Secretary, also spoke, thanking the Senator for his generosity and commitment, and promising that God would continue to replenish and take him to Greater heights.
