Senator Sandy Onor Pays Hospital Bills For Constituents

In line with his philanthropic disposition and vision for the good people of Central Senatorial District, the Senator representing Cross River State Central, Ntufam Senator Prof. Sandy Onor, had today the 4th of August 2020 pay the hospital bills of some of his constituents that were hospitalized for some weeks.

Speaking during the visit to Eja Memorial Hospital Itigidi, the Senator through his representative Chief Joe Obi Bisong (DG Caterpillar Movement) expressed deep sympathy and concern over the health of the constituents.

“I am deeply touched seeing my constituents languishing in pains orchestrated by various forms of sicknesses, more worrisome is the fact that most of you don’t even have money to settle your bills. As part of the social responsibility of the Distinguished Senator to his constituents, the Senator have taken it upon himself to settle the bills of some of his constituents that are due for discharge and to also assist them financially in taking care of their nutritional needs”

The exhilarated beneficiaries expressed their sincere gratitude to the senator for coming to their rescue, having been hospitalized for a long while. One of the beneficiary, Mrs Blessing Egbe George from Ekureku Ward 2, who underwent Blood Transfusion, paid for by the senator, thanked the Senator for displaying sincere care for his constituents.

In her words:-

“This is the type of senator we want, a man with a good heart. A man that has the capacity to connect with the grassroot. On behalf of all the beneficiaries of the senator’s kindness, I want to thank the Senator for coming to our rescue. May God continue to bless him richly”
