For Emeka Ihedioha, there is no going back. He is no longer governor and that is the end of it, he has no where else to seek arbitration. He leaves the government house and can no longer be described as His Excellency and that is the fact.

1. PAIN
Having been sworn in as the duly elected governor of Imo State, Ihdedioha had scaled through other ruings by lower courts which were in his favour. He must have been full of hope that the Supreme Court would validate him as the legitimate executive governor of Imo State, but his hopes were dashed by Hope Uzodinma who got the favourable Supreme Court judgment.

2. LOSING TO THE MAN WHO CAME 4TH
It must be like a kick in the groin to lose to the person who came 4 th in the election. Emeka must be seeing stars and bemoaning the ‘injustice’ of it all.

3. ROCHAS OKOROCHA
No sooner was he sworn in did Ihedioha begin a test of wills with the erstwhile governor of Imo State, Rochas Okororcha. He did not stop at Rochas but extended the war to Okorocha’s immediate family including his siblings and son –in-law.
It must will be most embarrassing for him to face the Okorochas again.

4. RESPECT AND PRIVILEGES
Emeka Ihdioha has of course lost all the privileges and power that comes with the title, His Excellency, the governor.

5. FATHER MBAKA
The political Catholic priest had predicted that Ihedioha would lose but was taken to the cleaners by not only the governor himself but the Nigerian public. Though Mbaka tried at the last minute to recant the prediction, the priest is not known for such humility as silence. Mbaka is sure to sing his own praise to high heavens bringing even more ridicule to the sacked governor.
Emeka  Ihedioha, if he actually cried, had enough reasons to cry.
