Police in Akwa Ibom have arrested four female students of Uyo City Polytechnic, over possession of a nylon bag with men’s used condoms containing sperm.

The suspects are; Inemesit Edet, Glory Johnson, Magreat Pius and Iniobong Udo of department of Mass Communication.

Police said the suspects during interrogation, confessed that they hide condoms used by men after having sex with them, and sell them to ‘abokis’, who also sell to other persons for ritual purposes.

The police said the students were arrested at a hotel on Ikpa road, based on intelligence report on their suspicious activities.

“After series of interrogation the gang leader confesses that they are all prostitutes who go out to sleep with men and after that the carry the gold circle containing the sperm to sell to aboki people who buys them at very costly price. The girls all confessed that they have been into the business for 3 years now since they started school,” the police said.

“Edet one of the girls said each time she sleeps with you, she will pull off the gold circle from you pretending to be caring and do as if she wants to and dispose it, she will then tie it and put in her bag, she said the aboki people that buys it usually send it to their alhaji in Abuja and Lagos which they use in doing all kinds of rituals.”

It was gathered that one of the ladies’ neighbours reported the matter to the police.
