Decomposing Bodies of Two Sisters Found In A Pastor’s Car In Delta State [Photos]


The decomposing bodies of two children were discovered in an abandoned car on Okpoghoro Street, Abraka, Ethiope east local government area of Delta State, causing chaos.

The decomposing bodies of the two twins, identified as Fega and Kelvin Izakpa, aged seven and ten years old respectively, were discovered in the back seat of Pastor Eniku Aghogho Tayo’s abandoned green tinted Range Rover.

Mrs. Odiri Izakpa, a hairdresser in Abraka’s main market, was said to be at her shop when she learned that her missing children had been discovered lifeless and decomposing in a parked car.

She revealed that she last saw her children on March 8, 2021.

She announced that she went to visit her mother-in-law, Mrs. Felicia, to see if the children were still with her, only to be informed that they had left on March 7, 2020.

According to reports, the vehicle’s driver, Pastor Tayo, has been detained at the Abraka Police Station, claiming ignorance.
Pastor Tayo lives in Warri and commutes between his home and his office, according to sources.

It was discovered that the stench of the corpses attracted the attention of neighbors and passers-by who discovered the children’s rotting bodies.
DSP Edafe Bright, a Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the incident when contacted.

“On the 12th March 2021, information was received at Abraka Police Station that two decomposing children’s bodies were spotted in a Honda Rover car with registration number AG 815 BKW parked at the path way of the house of one Eniku Aghogho Tayo, 35 years, but resides in Warri, who happens to be the owner of the said vehicle,” he said.

“CSP Aliyu Shaba, the Divisional Police Officer, led police operatives to the scene and immediately evacuated the corpse.

Kelvin Izakpa, 10 years old, and Fega Izakpa, 7 years old, both children of late Meshach Izakpa, were staying with their mother before their disappearance, according to the investigation.
“The decomposing body has been handed over to the family for burial, while the suspect Eniku Aghogho Tayo has been arrested and the vehicle impounded,” the statement said, adding that the investigation is still underway.
