“What we want you to do for us is to stop the fight. Many people have deserted, abandoned their farms in fear of kidnapping and killings and other atrocities, it’s very unfortunate.”

Meanwhile, reported that in his plea to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammed Adamu, Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina said that some parts of the state had been taken over by bandits and kidnappers. Speaking on Wednesday, April 10, through his deputy, Mannir Yakubu, Governor Masari said: “These bandits strike at will, maim at will, destroy lives and property at will.”
