Three APC Governors Storm Cross River Ahead Of Ogoja-Yala Bye-Election Tomorrow
Governors of Ebonyi, Kaduna, and Jigawa states, Dave Umahi, Nasiru El-Rufai, and Mohammed Baduru Abubakar, stormed Cross River State on Thursday, February 24, 2022, ahead of by-elections in Akpabuyo State and the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituencies of the state on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
The three All Progressive Congress, APC Governors were in the state, WeetalknaijaBlog gathered, to show support for Mr Jude Ngaji, the APC’s candidate in the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency by-election.
They encouraged voters not to be duped by what they called the opposition Peoples Democratic Party’s theatrics (PDP)
At a magnificent conclusion of the APC’s by-election campaign at Okpoma, the Yala Local Government headquarters of the state, the Governors urged the people of the constituency to cast their votes for Ngaji “for true dividends of democracy”.
Sen. Ben Ayade, the state’s host governor, stated that the results of the by-elections in Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency and Akpabuyo State Constituency will eventually cement the PDP’s fate in Cross River State.

“Cross River State has aligned itself with the centre; it is now firmly APC.” This will be confirmed by Saturday’s results,” Ayade stated.
Mr Ngaji, a former Chief State Security Adviser (SSA) to Governor Ayade, promised earlier in his remarks that if elected, he would deliver great representation to his constituents in the green Chamber.
