Senior US federal and state election officials stated on Thursday that there was no evidence of any compromised or deleted votes during the election.
They said this in a statement they released to disagree with Trump and the Republicans’ claims that there were some manipulations in the election which led to his loss to Biden.
The officials, who are responsible for election security across the country, did not only disagree but also rejected all claims raised against the victory of the democrats.
“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history, there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised,” they said.
“While we know there are many unfounded claims and opportunities for misinformation about the process of our elections, we can assure you we have the utmost confidence in the security and integrity of our elections, and you should too.”
The statement, which was issued by the Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council, was signed by the Heads of the National Association of State Election Directors and the National Association of Secretaries of State.
Since the announcement of the democrats as the next leaders to pilot the goverment of US, Trump and his people have been on the height of producing claims that set against the victory. Trump’s last tweet about his deleted 2.7million votes in Pennsylvania and other states pioneered the release by these officials to dispute his claims.
Not only the officials but also the company, Dominion Voting Systems, and the Pennsylvania Department of States strongly denied all his allegations set against the votes.
Therefore, the statement from these election security officials had to be released to the public as rumours about Trump’s deleted votes have flooded the internet.
Moreover, Trump has also pressed different charges in court and was reported that he could fire head of CISA for counting all their claims as mere allegations.
Although none of the irregularities he claimed in court has been rationally proven, the election officials have started rechecking their results and will have to also validate their effort by recounting the ballot papers.
“When states have close elections, many will recount ballots. All of the states with close results in the 2020 presidential race have paper records of each vote, allowing the ability to go back and count each ballot if necessary,” the officials said.
